The posterior lumbar dual-channel simulation model is a complete UBE/VBE surgical training model. It allows learners to understand the anatomical morphology and structure of the lumbar region, helping them quickly familiarize themselves with the UBE/VBE minimally invasive surgical procedure and instrument usage. It provides a realistic visual and surgical experience, enabling doctors to learn better and faster, and allowing more learners to quickly master UBE surgical techniques.

III.  Posterior Lumbar Dual-Channel Simulation Model

1. Specifications: 17*33.8*15.3CM.

2. The model is a 1:1 scale replica of the real human anatomy and physique of an adult, created based on real human imaging data. The model includes anatomical structures such as skin, muscles, L3-L5 vertebrae, sacrum and coccyx, nerve roots, nucleus pulposus, annulus fibrosus, ligamentum flavum, and interspinous and supraspinous ligaments. The soft tissue material is platinum-coated silicone.

3. The model’s exterior is made of ABS material, and its interior is hollow, containing a water tank, water pump, and removable filter.

4. The model can be connected to a 220V power supply. Physiological saline solution can be injected into the water tank to achieve internal water circulation, and the water flow rate can be controlled via a knob.

5. It simulates the morphology of real skin and possesses the curves of a realistic human spine. The thickness is approximately 2mm, with a Shore hardness of A10±2, and the touch is close to that of a normal human body, exhibiting elasticity and tension. Surgical procedures are realistic, allowing for skin disinfection, surface marking, puncture, cutting, suturing, and establishment of working channels.

6. The skin is made of platinum-coated silicone: possessing high stability and non-toxic properties. Official RoHS non-toxic testing certification is available.

7. The main muscle material is a unique platinum-silicone formula, which is flexible, resilient, and has tensile strength, providing better instrument grip and a more realistic feel for punctures, cuts, and establishing working channels.

8. The vertebral body is made of a unique biomimetic bone density material, similar to human bone density. It contains cortical and cancellous bone structures with different densities, allowing for surgical operations such as grinding, drilling, osteotomy, screw placement, plate placement, and fixation. Drilling provides a realistic feel of hollowing out, and bone powder is visible. The vertebral body is not prone to cracking, and the material does not easily adhere to the cutting tool. The bone supports X-ray/CT imaging, with clear imaging results, and the vertebral body is clearly distinguishable, closely resembling a real human body. The cortical and cancellous bone are distinguishable under CT scans, with a significant difference in CT values.

9. The intervertebral disc is made of a unique biomimetic material, including the nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus, and can accommodate various herniated discs. It allows for surgical operations such as grasping, clamping, and removal of the nucleus pulposus.

10. Skin and muscle are consumable parts, reusable, and easy to replace.

11. Vertebrae and sacrum are consumable parts, reusable, and easy to replace.
